Building 69 Bites the Dust

Kodak buildings 65 and 69, formerly used for R&D, were imploded this morning. A big dusty mess ensued. A huge crowd was gathered to watch this, the fourth (I think) building to be imploded with dynamite in Kodak Park. This view from 1000 feet to the north was good, but the wind blew the dust right at us. People ran for their cars as the whiteout hit. The little buildings in the foreground, many businesses along Ridge Rd, are directly across the street from the destruction, and apparently empty semi-trailers were used to protect them from shrapnel and dust. I hope they survived intact.
