It's photos like this that make me truly grateful I live in such a beautiful place. The Northwest has so much to offer and I love having the option of driving just an hour to reach a world that transports me to another universe. I have recently been trying to increase my astrophotography skills, and I have come across some helpful tutorials that have truly helped me in the post processing of night images. I came across this image I took in early November and could make out the milky way in the camera screen. After over 2 hours of extracting all the information, I was able to produce this image of the milky way with the Orion constellation (I believe that's right, correct me if I'm wrong). I can't wait for the center of the Milky Way to reach the Northern Hemisphere again so I can take more of these shots. Never stop adventuring and learning. Always take a moment to enjoy what you cannot see.
Wooded Serenity Midst The City Chaos

This is part of the Casa Loma grounds this and another trail are wonderful walks during a day when all seems to be wrong. This area is only a few city blocks from my condo. It is indeed in the middle of the chaos of Toronto. I have mapped so you may see just where it is. I hope you enjoy the image as much as I enjoy the trail itself.
