I resisted putting these two photos online because they have so much noise, but ultimately I said screw it, because it was such an unusual sight.
These have not been edited in Photoshop except to resize - the sky actually was this astonishing vivid color. To make things ever better, I got to share it with some of my favorite people in the world who were also there at the time. (David & Bryan, Angie & Martha, and my pal Celena)
If anyone knows of a good way to remove the noise, I'd be interested. (None of my Photoshop tricks worked, nor did Noiseware or Picture Cooler)
