I found this damaged copyright free image in the commons belonging to www.flickr.com/photos/george_eastman_house/ . The image is of an unidentified man, who I think kind of looks like Jean-François Champollion, also know as "the dude who deciphered the Rosetta stone". I don't think it's really him, but i thought that this 150+ year old photograph was worth restoring as it is a really nice photo. I usually attempt to colorize the photo in the third pane of the 3up, but this time i decided to make my own awesome creation out of the restored photo!:) I jibbed his mouth. added a laser, antennas and glowing eyes. Photo was restored in photoshop cs5 using various selection tools, patch, clone, layer adjustments etc....
