The Library of Congress website offers a multitude of historical images, many with no known restrictions on use. This image is derived from the 1900 T.W. Ingersoll stereograph titled Grey Eagle and family, Sioux lodge. A short geneaology indicates Grey Eagle (Wanbli Hota, Gabriel Grey Eagle, 1854 - 1935) was born an Oglala but joined the Hunkpapa, in which his brother-in-law Sitting Bull was prominent. The woman in this image is probably Grey Eagle's wife, Deer Woman (Tahca winla Lizzie Gray Eagle). The genealogy indicates five children that survived infancy: Takes Twice (son, 1875); Brought Spotted (daughter, 1881); Leader (son, 1883); Gives Up (son, 1886); Send the War Party (son, 1887). If accurate, and assuming the infant is the last child born, then the man on the right could be his oldest son - but he would have been thirteen, which seems unlikely. This type of feathered headdress he has was uncommonly worn, being most frequently reserved for use as a warbonnet.

The Toulouse public library in Toulouse, France offers a multitude of late 19th/early 20th century images in the Flickr commons. The original image of Arrivée à Foix, février 1903 is from the Eugène Trutat photos of Foix, France. The circa 1903 image has no known restrictions on publication.
