So this is something called light painting. It is were you do a long exposer (20-30 seconds) and then use a flashlight to expose the part of the picture that you want to see. I had Kat paint me in this photo. I like the ones of Kat and Lewis that I uploaded last night but I need a better setting to be able to full take advantage of this technique.
