A few nice image sites images I found:
The Argyle Stairs 1930 to 2008
Image by Rossco ( Image Focus Australia )
This image had a real twist in the making. We recently visited Sydney and met with Fiona from the National Library for an interview, on the way home we stopped on the southern side of the harbour bridge to wander around and photograph various sites. This image was taken of the Argyle steps in the rocks. On return home we found that the same image was taken of this policeman in the exact location during the 1930's.
Heres the original image:

Perfect to do a rehash for Re-Picture Australia.
In a further twist to this image, as of the 29th March 2009 is was lucky enough to win the Pooling Ideas Competition with this image.

Teased sciatic nerve fibres triple labelled for neurofilament (blue), S100 (red) and DRP2 (green). The S100 protein is expressed in the Schwann cells of the peripheral nervous system and in astroglial cells of the central nervous system. DRP2 (dystrophin-related protein) is thought to be involved in membrane-cytoskeleton interactions at sites of membrane specialization and intercellular contact in various tissues. Disruption of these protein complexes are thought to be a cause of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. This is an inherited disease that leads to muscle-wasting.
