Architect John Graham, of John Graham and Co., produced the final saucer design of the Needle. John was the designer of the nation's first shopping mall, Seattle's Northgate Mall. Credit for the architecture and design also goes to John's partner Victor Steinbrueck, UW engineering professor Al Miller, architectural illustrator Earle Duff, designer John Ridley, and design partner Nate Wilkinson.
