People keep asking me what this is :)
It's the internal drum of a dryer.
Setup:
The dryer is placed on top of the washing machine, in the garage.
The camera is placed on a tripod in front of the open door, and the garage is completely dark. Before the start of the exposure, I power on the washing machine. This makes a lot of red lights (leds in fact) to lighten up. The light of these leds is reflected into the dryer with a mirror placed under the camera lens.
That's all there is to it :)
No postprocessing needed, this is SOOC.
