I think this was at Pride back when it was "Gay Freedom Day" in the early eighties. Kathy was my sister, and an out-and-proud lesbian in SF from the very early 70s until the passed away in 1997.
(edited: actually, given the scenery behind, I'm going to guess this was the afternoon of a Dyke March.)
