Assignment 2 - Introduction to Digital Imaging

This image was created for my second project in my digital imaging class.
The goal is to create an invented figure that is believable as a whole within a landscape. Fantasy elements are allowed, but it should look realistic.
8 layers within the figure and 4 within the background are the requirements. Even though it doesn't look like it, there are actually over 50 layers making up the girl. (It's because of the leaf-hair.)
Constructive criticism is always appreciated. (Compliments are nice too!) Flamers should stop, drop and roll. My project is due Thursday, October 23, so if I get any advice before then , and I have time, I may make edits. Thanks!
