Grammy nominated rapper 2 Chainz was arrested on Valentine’s Day for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, Maryland State Police Sgt. Marc Black confirmed to Yahoo!

The “I’m Different” rapper was en route to a performance at the University Of Maryland Eastern Shore when he was pulled over at 9:15 p.m. for speeding.
Sgt. Black said 2 Chainz, born Tauheed Epps, was stopped on Route 50 on Rabbit Hill Road in Talbot. “A trooper observed [the vehicle driving] over 79 miles per hour and a traffic stop was conducted,” he said. “A strong odor of burned marijuana was emanating from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was [conducted]. Probable cause was conducted and it was found that Mr. Epps had paraphernalia on him with trace amount of marijuana.”
2 Chainz was taken to the Maryland Police Station barracks and issued a criminal citation for paraphernalia and possession of CVS and was released on his signature.
If found guilty, the rap star could face one year in jail or a fine of up to ,000.
2 Chainz complained about the arrest in posts on his Twitter page.

“We [went] to jail for a grinder??? REALLY???” he added.
2 Chainz said the drugs and paraphernalia belonged to someone else in his party. “Not to mention my security said it was his and they said , he don’t smoke ,, how da f-k u know? Haha wut a valentines day!!!” he wrote.
After 2 Chainz was released, he posted an Instagram photo with two officers. “Locked me up and then Wanted pictures smh,” he wrote.
Sgt. Black said the photo with the officers is being investigated for possible policy violation. “We are looking into that,” Sgt. Black told Yahoo! “If we find that a violation of policy occurred that would be dealt with by administration.”
The arrest did not prevent the rapper from having a good show.
“Despite Easton cops being on some sh-t… @2chainz still did his whole set for UMES,” one Twitter user posted.
This writer only has one question for 2 Chainz. When the police pulled up to the scene was his ceiling missing?

Everyone who has seen Spring Breakers knows (or doesn’t know, for that matter) about Harmony Korine. On a phone conference with the Trash Humpers director himself and Pretty Little Liar’s Ashley Benson, the FSView & Florida Flambeau got to experience the “wet dream” that is Spring Breakers from the people behind the madness.
“I’ve been on [‘Pretty Little Liars’] for four years now, and I feel like people have just seen me in a certain way for such a long time,” explained Benson on why she took her role in the R-rated film. “I really wanted to do something where I was different from anything I’ve ever done. I read Harmony’s script and it was exactly what I wanted to do… I liked how edgy it was; I liked how different it was. I hope I’m a good example [to my fans]. I think some people with younger fans, they kind of choose roles for their fans. And for me, it’s more about the things I want to do, and the projects I want to be a part of… I think that’s what’s most important.”
On the other side of the lens, Korine explained his decision in casting four teen idols—Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez make up the other half—for his provocative take on spring break.
“I wanted to work with these girls, first and foremost, because they were the best for the part,” Korine said. “They were the most interesting for the part. And then, on top of it, I liked the fact that they were connected culturally to this kind of pop mythology. I thought it was an interesting counter to their perception and what they’ve done in the past. They were all at a point in their lives where they wanted to try things more graphic. It was great. [As to why Gucci Mane was cast] Gucci’s the best. Gucci is the Trap God; Gucci is what makes American great. I would love to keep working with him.”
Speculation has been made as to what Spring Breakers is really about. Is it a message film, or a piece of pop entertainment?
Korine answers: “The message I was trying to send out is just the movie. And so what I was trying to do with the minimal dialogue—I just felt like, in the end, what were they going to say? It was more observational. Anyway, it was about a kind of culture of surfaces—the way things looked and felt.”
From that last sentence, one might assume Korine to be a little on the crazy side of things. Benson assures us this isn’t the case.
“I was thrown into the movie at the last minute, so I didn’t get a chance to meet Harm until I got to Florida,” Benson said. “I looked him up on YouTube and I saw his interviews and stuff on Letterman; and he was crazy. But when I met him in person, he was just a normal dude.”
Korine wants viewers to feel his movies in a more physical way, like a “ride, or a game, or something that demanded participation.” He accomplishes this by setting Spring Breakers in locations with “ambience” rather than tourist destinations.
“[The locations] speak to you in some way,” Korine said. “It’s something that’s tonally connected.”
During the filming process, he would drop his lead actresses off at random parties and bars in bikinis, an experience Benson described as “rad.”
“I’ve never been put in a situation like that,” Benson said. “I think the one that we didn’t know about was in this pool hall. There were a bunch of guys there and, you know, for sure like they all had knives and guns on them. It just made the whole experience just more exciting and fun.”
It was in these scenes that Benson felt her true self come through.
“We were able to improv throughout the movie,” Benson said. “When all four girls are together and we’re messing around, and we’re drunk, I think that’s when our real personalities come out and we’re just more ourselves. Other than that, [my character] Brit was completely different from me. She’s a badass and I’m really not.”

A Houston woman thought she was being helpful when she stood on the side of the road last week holding up a sign warning of a speed trap ahead, but police thought otherwise and tossed her in jail last week.
Natalie Plummer says a Houston cop jumped out of his car, searched her without consent and told her she was being arrested for obstruction of justice, an automatic three to five years in prison, reports KTRK. She spent 12 hours in jail and ended up being charged with "walking in the roadway where there is a sidewalk present, a misdemeanor.
Plummer says she did not leave the sidewalk.
"I for sure did not step into the street," Plummer told the station. "(I stayed) on the sidewalk the entire time."
Plummer also claims the cop broke two iPhones she had in her backpack.

Plummer told the station she made the sign saying "Speed Trap!" out of a grocery bag because she thought the cop was unfairly pulling random people over and he wanted to help people avoid being ticketed.
"He couldn't take me to jail for holding up this sign or he would have. So all he could do was make up something fake about it," she added.
The Houston Police Department refused to talk to the station about the issue, with a spokesperson saying only that Plummer "was in the roadway" and "was a danger to herself and others...which is an arrestable offense."
