The Library of Congress website offers a multitude of historical images, many with no known restrictions on use. This image is derived from an 1929 Keystone View Co. stereograph titled Players of the "Cubs" in dugout before calling of a game of World Series, October, 1929, at Chicago, Ill.. The Philadelphia Athletics beat the Chicago Cubs in five games, winning both played at Wrigley Field in Chicago. This series also spawned the phrase "Mack Attack" to honor legendary coach Connie Mack, whose team overcame an eight run deficit by scoring ten runs in the seventh inning of game four. This phrase has most recently been appropriated by McDonald's to promote their Big Mac sandwich. The Cubs were led by another legendary coach, Joe McCarthy, who compiled one of the best winning records in the history of the game.
