The Library of Congress website offers a multitude of historical images, many with no known restrictions on use. This image is derived from the early 20th century American Colony stereograph titled Costumes, characters, etc. Bedouin woman. A description of traditional Bedouin clothing indicates the lighter shaded robe may be blue while the darker scarf may be darker blue or black. Many of the Matson collection photographs depict scenes of daily life in Palestine and nearby countries during the early 20th century.

Details and History
Blacque_Jacques (Carl Guderian) shares a multitude of vintage images including stereoviews from photographers known and unknown. This set includes a number of intriguing amateur views from 1930s France and Belgium. This image of a Nieuport-Delage shows aircraft that were obsolete less than a decade after manufacture. The first true modern fighter aircraft were being designed and built in the early 1930s, most notably the Messerschmitt Bf 109.
